harbour front stay
easy reach helpful staff maintained building
The location suited me perfectly. All local transport was within very easy reach. the staff were helpful with directions, and they provided useful local information. the building had a nice exterior, and i thought it looked well maintained.
The uht milk sachets in my room had a 'use by' date that was quite old. They made my morning coffee lumpy, and i had no internet access.

the hotel provided convenient access to the ferry pier and the railway station, both were just a short distance away. this made traveling to nearby islands and other destinations simple and easy.

breakfast included views of the wharf and harbour, looking out towards mull. the breakfast service presented options, and the staff were very attentive during meal times.

The hotel sits right on the main street, so it faces the harbour. This put me close to many restaurants. the hotel's central position made exploring local attractions simple. It was great.

FANTASTIC seaside stay!
harbour front helpful staff
The hotel sits right on the harbour front. I walked easily to the ferry and train stations! The staff were kind and helpful. The building was well maintained AND beautiful.
The signs about using personal food and drink were a little ODD. This was despite no facilities being provided, except tea and coffee making.

The hotel is in an EXCELLENT location. You can easily walk everywhere. Popping back to your room to pick something up or drop off a purchase.

mediocre stay, dated facilities
protruding springs cramped bathroom
the location was acceptable, right on the main street.
the room was not particularly clean, and the bed had springs protruding through the mattress. breakfast seemed an exorbitant £19.00 a head. the bathroom felt cramped.

Central Stay with Island Views
ferry terminal island views nice teas warm welcome
I found the location excellent, steps away from the ferry terminal. My room featured views of the nearby islands. It was quite picturesque. I appreciated the selection of teas available. The owner gave me a warm welcome at check-in.
The room size felt somewhat small for a double. It was adequate but compact.

A nice selection of teas is available. I understand the marvelous Scottish breakfast is meters from ferry, bus, taxi, and train. The hotel does not have an in-house restaurant for other meals.

My room offered a view over to the islands. It was clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable. Tea and coffee making facilities were provided. This added convenience.
